Happy weekend! It is bitter cold outside, so I am planning on staying in to check out all of the amazing sales happening right now in honor of the three day weekend! I, unfortunately, gave up shopping for a month for Lent…. I can’t stop twitching. Since I cast my own dark cloud and currently crying and shaking in the corner, I am recruiting you to shop for me! So shop away in my honor friends, and PLEASE tell me what you got– I will live vicariously through your shopping experience!

Happy Friday!! This week….. my goodness it was good one!! I have a few exciting things to share with you today! This year has already started off on a great note, and I hope it continues this way! A lot of things have come my way, making my life a little crazier and busier, but in the best way possible! I am so grateful and feel overjoyed by it all! So here is a recap of my week, and the good news I have to share!
Last week I talked a little about how excited I am for the new collaboration between Olivia Palermo and Nordstrom. Olivia is one of my style icons–isn’t she everyones?! She has such an impeccable taste in clothing, and how she styles pieces is so perfect! It would be a dream to look even half as put together and chic as she is, so ordering her entire new line is extremely tempting–and dangerous 🙂 There will be four collections throughout the year consisting of around 30 pieces. The collection represents what young modern women are wearing these days, and pieces that are always traditional–meaning you can wear them all year round! There are a lot of pieces I have my eye on, especially this bustier! I am excited to see the collections following her Spring line.

This year Pantone, for the first time, named Serenity and Rose Quartz as the colors of the year. Serenity is a light baby blue, and Rose Quartz is more of a blush/pink color. I am happy with the colors of the year as I love wearing blush and light blue and already have plenty of each color in my closet.
