spring

Nothing is better than a lovely weekend during the spring in New York City. The sun is out, trees have blossomed,  flowers have bloomed, and everyone is out and about exploring the city. Spring is a time for renewal, new adventures, and a more optimistic approach to life. Today I am partnering with Maggy London to show you some of my favorite things to do during the spring season.

When I think of spring the first thing that comes to mind is floral dresses…. groundbreaking I know. But there is something so pretty, and happy, about floral dresses. I always feel beautiful when I wear one. This dress is one of my favorites from the Maggy London’s spring collection. The detailing is unique and capturing. The fit is perfect and it is so comfortable to wear! I believe a fit and flare silhouette is flattering on everyone. It hits you in the right place by accentuating the waistline.

Living in New York there are endless amounts of things to do on the weekends. One of my (many) favorite weekend excursions is to roam around museums. I find it peaceful to walk around looking at art and historical artifacts. This was taken right outside The Frick Collection in the Upper East Side. The Frick is an old home on 5th ave. of Henry Frick. Frick collected artwork with the intention of one day turning his home into a museum. The museum is beautiful, and it is interesting to learn about the history of not only Frick himself, but a part of New York History. There is also this cute garden in the middle of the museum that is so peaceful and beautiful to be in. You must go there someday…. wearing Maggy London of course!

Head over to Maggy London to read the full interview and stay tuned for more of my favorite dresses from the collection!
