Sunday shopping

Happy Sunday! It’s been a beautiful weekend here in New York. I cannot stop walking around taking pictures of cherry blossom trees and flowers. It’s all so picturesque. Now that nature has come alive again, and I have put away my dreary winter coat, I am shopping any and all spring outfits.

While I love a good floral dress or a pop of color, I usually gravitate towards white dresses in the spring and summer season. This white square neck midi dress gives me the feel of a European summer holiday. The lace cutout front is a beautiful delicate detail – as well as the tie-bow in the back. I can see myself wearing it while frolicking around an outdoors market in the south of France. While shopping, pair it with this bucket hat with an eyelet scalloped lace ribbon. Give your outfit a pop of color with this rectangular shape two-tone straw handbag.

For an everyday dress I am loving this pink shirtdress. Wear it as is or belt it to cinch the waist. This is a dress you can were from work to play and everything in between. When casually wearing it pair it with these raffia crochet ballet flats (very popular right now) and these translucent frame cat-eye sunglasses.

If you are looking for something dressier this spring season, this floral skirt is the perfect versatile item to have. Great to wear to perhaps a baby shower or bridal shower, wear it to work, or wear it out to dinner. You can dress it up or down, and pair it with a plethora of tops. Wear these pretty raffia flower earrings with it for any occasion– under $10.

Princess Diana season is upon us– you know the classic biker shorts and oversized sweatshirt. These blue biker shorts are perfect to wear with a cute sweatshirt. The blue coloring is pretty– not too bright or too dark. If you are not into the Princess Di look, these shorts, of course, make for a great activewear item. Shorts come in different lengths and colors, and also under $100.

I am still daydreaming of hosting summer dinner parties or soirees. While all of my current tumblers are clear (with cute white polka dots) I am looking for colorful tumblers to have. It really changes up the aesthetics of the tablescape These vintage textured green tumblers are the perfect addition to your spring and summer shindig — set of 6 for under $30.
