Now that is it warm (FINALLY!) it is so tempting to want to be outside and not working. I know I can’t be the only one who wants to skip any and all responsibilities and spend the afternoon drinking rose on a patio somewhere? Unfortunately most of us did not choose the sommelier life, so we must suffer until 5pm. Once that clock hits see ya later it is time to enjoy happy hour with our friends. But what about our outfit? We need a day to night outfit.

This outfit is one that I would wear out at night and at work. It is a mix of fun and professional from head to toe. I love wearing this eyelet sweater. It elevates any ordinary outfit with it’s feminine detailing. I have worn it with jeans, shorts, and skirts during the day and out at night. This military inspired skirt is another favorite of mine. I wore it during fashion week (seen here) and now am planning on wearing it throughout the spring. It holds a timeless feel to it. A versatility that can be dressed up or down, feminine or masculine, winter or spring. And it is on sale!! Pairing this skirt with the eyelet sweater makes for a great day to night look. An outfit that is just waiting to be surrounded by a glass or two of rose…….. ok probably more than just two.
