As I may not be ready to fully say goodbye to summer, I am starting to build my fall wardrobe. At Tuckernuck we have started to switch over our linen dresses to leather skirts. We have a great collection of fall items to shop not only from our private label by also third party. This fall season I have been coveting items from shades of greens and deep reds, statement patterns and prints, uniquely crafted pieces, and tailored fits. Here are a few of my favorite new fall items at Tuckernuck.
Plaid Mock Neck Dress: I have to admit I wasn’t so sure about this dress until one of my clients tried it on. The tailored fit of the bodice and flared skirt creates an elegant silhouette. You can style it with a belt, a chunky necklace, or leave it as is. This is a beautiful piece to wear to work.
Peridot Cashmere Cardigan: I currently have this cardigan, and this color, in my shopping bag. Ready to hit purchase! Tuckernuck has done a nice job in producing beautiful shades of green this season. Hues that you can’t find anywhere else. I realized I do not have any green attire to wear this fall, and as I have been coveting it lately, I think it’s time to add this cashmere sweater to my closet.
Wildflower Tapestry Skirt: Oh how lovely is this skirt! It was one of the first items that caught my eye at work. Elegant, beautiful, refined. It’s perfect for work or to an elevated event. Style the skirt with a classic white button up or black sweater. Or perhaps accentuate the colors and flowers by pairing it with the peridot cardigan or this beautiful floral cardigan.
Leather-Trim Clutch: Another item that I need for the fall season is a new handbag. Most of my fall bags are black clutches or leather bucket bags. I need to expand. This leather clutch is a timeless bag. You can carry it either as a clutch or as a shoulder bag (detachable strap). What I love most about this handbag is the front handle; a uniquely crafted detail for efficiency.
Denim Trench: Another item that stopped me in my tracks. This beautifully designed denim trench is the fashionable item you need this fall. From its tie-waist to slight puff sleeves there is a copious amount of structural features that work cohesively together while still giving the overall jacket a polished look. Lovely to wear out and about, and will definitely be a conversation starter!
White Button-Up Blouse: Your classic button-up has been reimagined. This peplum top with its smocked back and bell sleeves redefines the staple piece. It adds a sense of romanticism and elegance to your everyday wear or workwear. Style it over jeans for a daily look, a tailored skirt for an event, and nice slacks for work.
Gold Lattice Earrings: Another item that is currently in my shopping bag. It’s a luxe for less pair of earrings that will elevate any and all of your outfits. Under $50! The lattice design and oversized look makes these earrings pop.
Striped Knit Dress: I have to admit I do not look the best in sweater dresses. I don’t know what is it about them that does not work for my body, yet here I am wanting this stripe knit dress. The multicolor and striped pattern makes it a striking piece to wear, as well as comfortable! You can pair it with boots, flats, or heels- depending on where you are going. For jewelry, I would either pair it with gold accents, or accentuate a color or two by wearing burgundy or blue earrings. Keep it sleek and simple or playful and stylish.
Leather Skirt: This was an item I was excited to see in person before we got at it the store. I would love to add a leather midi skirt to my fall wardrobe for not only work, but to wear to fashionable events. You can pair it with an off-the-shoulder blouse for a night out or a sweater for the office. This is a staple piece to have for years.
Olive Tweed Jacket: I just bought this jacket in black, but now I am thinking I may also need it in olive. It’s a pretty fall color! This is one of our core pieces; one that is very popular amongst clients, stays in stock year-round but in different colors. This olive green jacket is perfect to wear with a basic white tee and a pair of jeans, or worn over nice slacks for a more polished look. Can also be thrown over a dress for a more businesslike attire.
Leopard Flats: One should always have a pair or two of leopard flats in their closet. It’s a neutral, a staple piece. What sets this particular leopard print flats apart from the others is the satin material (not calf hair), the sharp pointed toe, kitten heel, and the slight cutout. An elegant pair to add to your fall wardrobe.
Multicolor Stripe Turtleneck: This is a great piece that you will be your go-to for the fall. The casual turtleneck is elevated with a beautiful array of color and the stripe pattern. Throw it on with a pair of jeans and go about your day. Style it with a blazer for work. Wear gold statement jewelry for dinner.
Espresso Midi Dress: This is a really lovely dress. Perfectly tailored in the bodice with a slight romantic flare of the skirt. Both feminine and refine, it’s works well for work or worn to a special occasion.
