-F. Scott Fitzgerald

Happy Friday!! My goodness, December is flying by so fast! I feel like I just got back from Thanksgiving and now I am preparing to leave again this week to fly home for Christmas. There are still a lot of holiday activities that I have not done yet like seeing the Rockefeller tree, the 5th ave. displays, and to see The Rockettes. I guess I will have to squeeze all of that in this coming week!

This past week, however, I did attend some fun holiday events! Tuesday evening I went to the New York City Ballet’s The Nutcracker. It has become a tradition for me to see this each holiday season. I love the Waltz of the Snowflakes, the Sugar Plum Fairy and Prince Coqueluche’s pas de deux, The Dance of the Candy Canes, and so much more! It’s a magical, enchanting, fun performance that I look forward to each year!

Besides watching Toy Soldiers fight the Mouse King, I went to the opening of Naadam’s store at Hudson Yards. Naadam is Thakoon’s new sustainable clothing line. They have the softest cashmere; I want everything in the current collection! At the event they had Davey’s Ice Cream (located in East Village and Brooklyn) serving homemade hot chocolate. My lord, it was so good!

Speaking of treats, last night I went to the opening kick-off party for Target’s Pop-Up “Wonderland” on 10th ave. The pop-up will be open until the 22nd, so definitely stop by! The massive pop-up is filled with games, Instagrammable photo opts, lots of food, holiday fun, and more. It’s a great place to take your kids, go with friends, or even a date! There is Legoland, Nintendo, Toys for Tots, Star Wars, and etc. I had a lot of fun at the pop-up and would most definitely go back!

Other than the few events I attended this past week, nothing else really went on. It’s freezing here in New York, so I have spent most of my time indoors watching holiday movies and dance parties. I don’t know if it is the holidays or moving into a new apartment or seeing my family or that some things have fallen into place, but I have been in the best mood this past month! Anyway, I have no major plans this weekend; I will most likely have drinks with friends, workout, and relax.

Have a wonderful weekend xo
