As an exercise fanatic, I always enjoy trying new workouts. In fact, I think trying new workouts is what keeps me motivative. When Studio B Wellness asked me to come to their cute little studio in German Village, I gave them a quick yes! First of all they have a disco ball in their studio, and who wouldn’t want to exercise underneath a disco ball!! If that does not get you to go workout, I don’t know what will!

I have taken plenty of barre classes before, but what I have found with every studio is that each one has a different approach and method to barre exercises. Studio B is more pilates and yoga based, with a little ballet influence. You will definitely be getting a full-body workout, targeting smaller muscle groups. There is a lot more stretching and core work involved. They have different types of classes: core barre, cardio interval, barre, and advanced barre classes. I have only taken the barre class and love it. I was sweating within minutes and felt sore (in all the right places) days later–which means I got a great workout in! If you are in the Columbus area and are looking for a new workout, Studio B Wellness is highly recommended by me!
