When I started this blog there were a few things I never imagined would happen; 1) that anyone besides my mom would read it, and 2) that I would connect with so many people. This blog has given me the chance to meet a lot of inspiring, creative, people from all over! I figured I would maybe meet a blogger or two from Columbus, but I never thought about other creative minds that live in this wonderful city of ours.

A few weeks ago I connected with local photographer Spencer Lookabaugh through, where else, but Instagram. Spencer has such a creative eye for aesthetics and his portraits are strikingly beautiful, I was immediately in awe of his work.  We decided to collaborate and meet on one very, very, very cold afternoon at the Scioto Mile downtown Columbus. If you didn’t already get the hint, it was very cold outside and we were freezing to death, but had fun getting to know each other, talking about photography and things we enjoy doing around Columbus. And it was a great way for both of us to grow a little more in our creative paths.

For the photoshoot I wanted to wear this classic look, something that would represent the city–classic and vibrant. A pair of jeans, a white collared shirt, and a blazer is as classic as you can get. I have been looking to add more colorful blazers to my collection for a more vibrant look to the stable attire. I have been eyeing this red blazer for years now and finally took the plunge to buy it. So glad I did!

Meeting and working with Spencer, and seeing his creative eye in work, was a great treat. I can’t wait to see what other creative minds I will come across as I continue to grow this blog!
