Happy Friday friends! What a sad week this has been. Like most of us, I am big fan of Prince and hearing about his death yesterday was truly sad. I spent all day glued to the TV listening to people talk about his life and listening to his music. What a true artistic genius he was. So sad! When I first moved to New York I was invited to the American Ballet Theatre’s Spring Gala. Prince was there with Misty Copeland, as she was on tour with him at the time. It was so surreal. He was unlike anyone I have ever seen. Just so cool. We weren’t allowed to take pictures of him, but I did not need to. I will never forget that moment when I realized I was at the same party as Prince, casually hanging out with people. He left super early so I did not get to meet him, but just seeing him was enough for me. This night will always be one of the best nights of my life.
