Since Sézane opened their L’ Appartement a few years ago I have become obsessed with the French brand. With a little part of Paris in New York, Sézane has brought collection after collection of chic, casual, and elevated French style to the concrete jungle. As you browse through the store you will find classically cut silhouettes and feminine fabrics, giving the perfectly effortless French style. Going to the L’Appartement is, in itself, an experience with a tiny cafe, home decor, and a photo booth.

Spring is the time of the year when many party invitations start heading your way. With in those party circuits you may have to dress up for a few. When it comes to party dresses I usually lean towards the class fit and flare silhouette with a feminine design. What you need in your closet is a classic dress, one that you can always turn to for multiple occasions.

Kate Spade has a way of taking something ordinary and adding a volume of drama to it. They create this drama with detailing, whether intricate or straightforward. This floral devore dress I instantly loved because of all of the detailing with the puffy sleeves, floral pattern, twist-knotted waist, and a just enough skirt to twirl around in.  Yet it seems subtle when you look at it, none of the dramatic detailing stands out. It seamlessly goes together.

Wedding season is upon us and it’s time to start thinking about what you are going to wear. I, unfortunately, do not have any weddings to attend to this year (most of my friends are already married). I wish I was going to one so I can wear a beautiful dress while cutting a rug on the dance floor. I am someone who loves weddings; seeing your friends tie the knot and being a part of their special day. It’s a wonderful occasion. Figuring out what to wear, on the other hand, can not always be a joyous occasion. There are a lot of factors to take into account; Is it black tie? Outdoor wedding? What is the venue like? What does formal cocktail mean? Whats the weather going to be like? So many questions for just one day! For each type of wedding, I’ve gathered a few dresses to dazzle the crowd with while you dance the “Electric Slide”.
