draper james

dress c/o (on sale!) // wicker bag c/o // sandals // sunglasses

Ever since Reese Witherspoon created her own fashion brand, I have obsessed over the Southern styles. From floral dresses to classic gingham tops, Draper James is the epitome of feminine prep. Charming outfits that you can wear to work, Sunday brunch with friends, casually running errands, or hosting a dinner party. It’s a brand I go to when I am looking for something classic and feminine.

nordstrom anniversary sale

Today marks the beginning of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Early Access Event. Early Access means if you have a Nordstrom card you can start shopping the major sale early before it goes open to the public. The Nordstrom Sale is pretty good this year, I have to admit that the last year or two the items were not that great. I even skipped the sale last year. But this year there is a lot of great options; anywhere from coats to basics to everyday needs to skincare, this is the time to grab what you need and want. As the sale continues Nordstrom will add more and more items. So keep checking back on the website, but don’t hesitate to buy as items do sell out fast. Nordstrom has a generous return policy. I will also update my Nordstrom shopping page on my blog (seen here). The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale will be opened to the public on July 19th.

Luckily for me my birthday is in-between the 4th and Halloween, but as the years roll on turning older is not something to look forward to anymore. So how do we get over the holiday blues?

sezane

dress c/o // bucket bag c/o // sunglasses // headband // sandals

It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood and I am wearing my new favorite stripe dress. I am not even embarrassed to admit how often I repeat this outfit, even within a week. It is that good! It’s casual enough that I can wear it running errands and nice enough that I can wear to dinner and drinks on a rooftop. It’s for those days when you want to dress up while you are frolicking around the city while not feeling uncomfortable. I was looking for a nice dress that I can wear that isn’t too casual. The moment I saw this stripe dress from Sézane I knew I would wear it all the time.
