Happy Sunday! It’s been a lovely weekend here in New York. I finally had a Saturday off and I spent it leisurely walking around, having drinks during happy hour, and enjoying the city. While walking around I was enjoying all of the decorated stoops, as well as the fall foliage. It inspired me for this week’s Sunday Shopping top 10; a collection of fall-like colors.
One of the biggest trends of the season is fringe garments and accessories. We saw it all over the runways, and now in our shopping carts. This brown knit midi dress, with its asymmetrical fringe detailing and ribbed texture, is very much in-vogue. Perfect to wear to a fall celebration, a night out for dinner, drinks with friends, or even Thanksgiving – if you tend to get a little fancy. When going out, keeping with the embellished theme, pair it with these chic gold fringe earrings.
For those of you who like to mix and match tops and bottoms, this two-piece set (top, skirt) will be your go-to for the season. Together it looks so chic. You can dress it up with these gold velvet mules or dress it down with flats. While the top and skirt look great together, it does give you a variety of styling options. The top can be worn with jeans, leather pants, another skirt. The skirt can be worn with a burgundy or brown sweater, a button up blouse, or a casual t-shirt.
Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and while I will be spending the day (most likely) alone (don’t worry, I do not mind at all!), I am still thinking about what outfit I am going to wear. Will take any excuse to buy a new outfit. For Thanksgiving I like to be both comfortable and dressed up.
