Happy Sunday! Now that we have settled into August, I am drawing inspiration from the month’s aesthetics. The stone of August is peridot, so my eyes have been drawn to shades of greens. The end of summer entails transitioning into the fall, so I gathered pieces that will take you from one season to the next. This past month I read a lot about relationships. The dynamics of family, friends, and loved ones whom we keep things from to try and keep them safe or to not hurt their feelings. When in reality, not communicating is the hindrance to these relationships. Each book has its own tale of prevarication. At work we are starting to rolling out our pre-fall collection; some sweaters, dresses, and shoes. While I am not quite there yet to purchase boots or a jacket, I am thinking about transitional pieces. Items that you can easily wear now and well into September, maybe even into October.
