This past month was filled with celebrations, events, and new beginnings. Each giving me a chance to style outfits for upscale occasions to everyday wear. Here are a few recent outfits I have worn this summer.

I wore this gorgeous floral embroidered dress to the ballet. It’s the perfect combination of being summery yet elevated for such an elegant evening. The silhouette is tailored around the bodice, while the slightly flared skirt gives you room to walk. The beautiful embroidery of flowers cascading down the bodice makes the dress stand out. This dress comes in other colors.

I wore this white halter dress to the L’Alliance New York’s Bastille Day festival. The festival is usually crowded, and the summer’s heat makes you grab for another cup of lemonade. You need to wear something that helps you beat the heat while still looking put-together. The bodice of this dress is cotton, while the skirt is linen. The lightweight fabrics are breathable and comfortable to wear.

I wore this outfit to work as it’s comfortable to wear while I run around grabbing garments for clients. It’s a summery look that can be worn casually running errands, on vacation, or for me, showcasing new collection pieces. These stripe linen pants are relaxed and a little oversize. There is a matching stripe vest that you can wear with it for a more dressier ensemble. I wore a classic t-shirt for ease, and to also wear something that can go under my sweater since it can get cold sometimes at work.

This outfit I wear to go shopping, to the farmer’s market, or simply out to brunch. I bought this embroidered white skirt last year and was pleased to see it back in stock for this season. The black spaghetti strap tank top is a recent purchase that I needed. A basic tank top is a staple piece- currently on sale for $20.
