Happy Friday! After 2 wonderful weeks in Ohio, I was ready to get back to the city. Back to a routine, back to my home, and back to creating content. It was a nice, much needed time off(ish). However, I am ready for a new year and what may come. (more…)
New year, new me! And this time I mean it. I want to get my spark back. I went into 2025 still grieving the loss of my grandmother, still dealing with the turbulence of my career. Needless to say I spent part of the year angry, while also feeling numb. It wasn’t a year where everything fell into place like I wanted it to. God had different plans. Plans where I still learned lessons, seasons of personal strength and growth, and I had to really let a lot of people and things finally go. By the end of the year, however, I felt like myself again. Last year my reading goal was 40 books and I ended up reading 48! While I pushed myself throughout the year to hit my goal, I spent December taking pleasure in, slowing down my reading. I wanted to fully submerge myself in the stories that were being told.
