Happy Sunday! I just got back from a birthday brunch for my friend. It was nice to be out on this lovely Sunday with friends, catching up over mimosas. While I was trying to figure out something to wear, I realized that I do not have that many transitional pieces. Items that I can wear now into the fall season. This week’s Sunday Shopping top 10 are all about pre-fall outfits, and a little bit of home decor.
One item that seems to be coveted by everyone is this chambray midi dress. I love the drop-waist style, adding a little detail to a classic denim dress. This is one you can wear once the weather gets a little cooler with boots, sneakers, flats, or even open-toe heels. Pair it with this brown leather and straw clutch; has detachable straps so you can also wear it as a shoulder bag or as a clutch. Complete the look with these tortoise shell round sunglasses– on sale under $100.
Another outfit that will take you from summer to fall is this gorgeous printed midi skirt paired with this chic cashmere cable knit halter top. You can wear the skirt with a classic white t-shirt, a fancy blouse, or it’s matching top. Wear the halter top with white shorts, denim jeans, or linen pants. Now that summer is slowly coming to an end, this means that events in the city will start up again. I will need new cute outfits to wear to these events and this brown moody floral dress is on top of my list. It’s chic, flattering to wear, and beautiful to look at. You can wear it now with sandals or with heels for a fancier gathering. I would pair it with this turquoise beached necklace to accentuate the blue within the dress.
Last but not least on my must-have list is this traviata ceramic lamp. I currently do not a lamp in my apartment and it would be nice to have one. I only have one overhead light for my studio apartment, a lamp would be helpful and this small size (comes in different sizes) is perfect to place on my side table.
