Happy Friday! This past week was filled with beauty and celebration. Moments that made me smile and love life again.

Fellow Swifties rejoice! We have been blessed once again with new music coming out (October 3rd) and a never been done before podcast! Please do not ask me how many times I have either watched or listened to the New Heights podcast. My lips are sealed! I loved seeing how in love Taylor and Travis are. Both are completely smitten with each other! It’s wonderful to see. I also enjoyed learning more about the music industry and her buying back her masters. And, of course, I am geeking out over The Life of a Showgirl and those photos!! My jaw was on the floor, they are SO good!!

Last weekend I went uptown to my friend Sarah’s apartment to celebrate her birthday. She gathered a few friends of hers for bagels (gluten free ones from Noglu) and mimosas. The gluten free bagel was delicious! It was a nice morning of catching up with old friends, meeting new people, and celebrating Sarah.

This past week I volunteered for two nights at The Joyce Theater for the Ballet Festival. Curated by NYC Ballet’s Principal dancer Tiler Peck, the festival was in celebration of the life and choreography of Jerome Robbins. Jerome Robbins, for those of you who do not know, was the choreographer for the original West Side Story production on broadway and co-directed the movie. I would describe his style of dancing as contemporary ballet; balletic movements mixed with musical theater, jazz, and modern. The Ballet Festival switched off between Program A one night, and then Program B the nest night. All which showcased different pieces. While I enjoyed Program A, I preferred Program B. I thought it was slightly more beauteous. The last number, In The Night, was set to a background of nighttime stars, with 3 couples strolling through the night. My favorite, however, was Concertino. A trio in which they created the most intriguing shapes and movement.

The costumes for the festival were lovely; pastels, flowy skirts, bows in hair. I loved seeing the mixture of the pastel colors interact and flow on stage. It was aesthetically pleasing, like seeing an abstract painting. My favorite part of the Ballet Festival was that it had a mixture of Principal and Étoile dancers from the American Ballet Theatre, New York City Ballet, Royal Ballet, and the Paris Opera Ballet. I have never seen the Royal Ballet nor Paris Opera Ballet live, let alone any of their dancers perform. It was such a treat! I loved seeing all of these dancers from different companies mixed together.

The rest of my week was focused on work. I had another zoom meeting with my LTK Account Executive where we discussed different ways to level up my content. She gave some great ideas, as well as tips and advice that I will be implementing. So if you see some changes within my content structure, just know I am playing around with different types of content to see what resonates and what doesn’t. Besides analysing my content, I had a doctors appointment this past week. Went in for a standard physical, left with an appointment to get an ultrasound and a mammogram. Not pregnant, nor is anything truly wrong. Just that ever since I had the norovirus during the holidays, the left side of my chest has been aching. I think I may have slightly pulled a muscle or tweaked it a little. My doctor just wants to make sure there isn’t any underlying issues.

What I watched: Did you watched the season finale of the Gilded Age? I LOVED IT!!! I was smiling from ear to ear during both of the galas. I screamed with joy during that *one* romantic scene. The last few moments of the episode was a whirlwind of emotions. Anyway, I can’t believe we have to wait 2 years for it to come back.. ugh!

Speaking of endings, I watched the series finale of And Just Like That…. I do not want to give away any spoilers, however, I will say I am very disappointed in the finale. These characters, and the fans who have been around for almost 30 years, deserve a better ending. It felt as though it was originally supposed to just be a season finale, then after they shot it decided to end the series. I am surprised SJP, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon allowed for that to be the final chapter…. or maybe it isn’t….

What I bought: The only thing I bought this week were tickets to the US Open. After missing the original ticket sales because I wasn’t sure if my parents were going to go with me or not, I was having a difficult time finding affordable tickets. I luckily found some affordable ones for the first day at the Arthur Ashe stadium! I am very excited!!
