Now that everyone is back in the city from summering in the Hamptons or Europe or wherever else they may have gone, things are starting to pick up. My social calendar is busy. I am booked and ready for work events. Date nights are on the horizon. While I love summer nights, I am getting excited for a change in seasons.
This is the time of year I switch from my bright floral dresses to my moody, dark colored dresses. Now that events are happening again, I need to stock up on some fall dresses to wear. And not just to events, but for nights out, dinners, everyday wear, etc. When I saw this colorful stripe dress, I knew I could wear it to such occasions. It’s the perfection transitional piece; when the weather is still warm, but you want to dress like it’s fall. I adore the array of colors and the mixture of stripes. You can wear this maxi dress with or without the waist band. Although I prefer to cinch my waist. The slit really adds to the appeal.
