summer outfits

Happy Sunday! The other day I was shopping in my own closet for something to wear to the theater. While I am always game to pull out a dress I haven’t worn in years, giving it a fresh new life, I was having one of those moments when I wanted to throw out everything. Tired of the same old. Of course this meant I needed to shop online to curate a new wardrobe. This week’s Sunday Shopping is inspired by design, color, and current items I am coveting.

I have had my eye on this geometric print maxi dress for a week now, ready to hit purchase. It’s very à la mode. With the mixing print and colors, this is a great dress to wear now in the summer and well into the fall season. Dress it up with these gold oyster shape earrings. Keep it summer-like with this rattan clutch with it’s seashells claps.

A white dress is always a good idea in the summer. This boat neck a-line dress is the perfect go-to summer dress.  I love the ladder stitch trim of the skirt, giving it a nice detail. Add some color with this gorgeous beaded necklace.

One thing I noticed that I lack in my current summer wardrobe are nice skirts. Something upscale that I can wear either out at night, to the theater, or even casually during the day. This colorful striped embroidered helechos midi skirt is both playful and sophisticated. There is a matching top to it, but you can style the skirt in many different ways to fit a variety of occasions. Add more color to your outfit with these pink crinkled sandals (selling out fast!). A pair of heels you will have for years.

Now that we have a new summer wardrobe, lets upgrade our poolside style. This palm green embroidery dress can be worn as a swim coverup or casually with espadrille flats on vacation. Throw on this frayed hem raffia bucket hat while out in the sun.

While I am wanting to change up my wardrobe, I am always wanting to add new home decor items in my apartment. One thing I need is a mirror to place above my dresser. I would like something with a unique design and a pop of color. I currently have my eye on this sky blue rattan mirror. An item that I can see myself still having in my future home. Comes in other colors and is currently on sale! Shop all of this week’s Sunday Shopping below.
