Happy Sunday! I hope you are enjoying a lovely 3-day weekend. I have been relaxing, enjoying the city when it’s not raining, watching Harry Potter, and of course, shopping for spring and summer outfits. This week’s Sunday Shopping top 10 is a plea to the Gods that the warm weather comes back.
If you adhere to the no whites before Memorial Day rule (I personally do not), now is your time to shine! This white seersucker thin strap midi dress is one you will wear time after time this season. It’s easy, breezy for a casual day. Elevated with its peplum waist for a night out. Pair it with these gold flower stud earrings for the evening. Wear it with these blue woven Mary Jane’s for a pop of color.
Another item that you can wear day to night is this pretty cream tiles print kaftan. The gorgeous print, easy silhouette, and ruffle neckline elevates this relaxed look. Pair it with this seashell clutch for an even more summery style.
For days when you are poolside, wear this classic blue gingham bikini. Top and high waist bottoms are both under $100. This is a bikini that you will wear year after year as it is both timeless and modern.
One item that I am coveting is a simple white midi skirt. It’s so versatile in how one can style it. Easy to throw on and go; can be dressed up or down. This white skirt is under $100.
What caught up my eye this past week is this sage green flower print strapless peplum top. Yes, peplum tops are making its way back into a top trend this season. This top is so gorgeous and unique with its raffia belt– can be taken off. You can wear this top with white pants, a long midi skirt, or shorts. Keep it monochromatic with these green cat-eye sunglasses– under $100.
Earlier this week I attended an event with Martha Stewart. One of the gifted items they gave us was herbs to take home. I picked curled parsley as it is something that I always put on my meats and vegetables. Anyway, I already had a clay pot to put the herb in, but it got me thinking of other chic ways to display my new beloved plant. This rattan plant pot is on top of my must-have list. I love the woven design with its scalloped detail. Place it around your home, outside in your garden, or on your tabletop during a dinner party. Shop all of this week’s Sunday Shopping top 10 below.
