The new year is all about the motto out with the old and in with the new. We look for ways to refresh our lives and our surroundings. One way to start anew is by changing your home decor. From furniture to cocktail napkins, one little replacement can make the biggest difference.
I am always looking for ways to add onto or change up my decor in my tiny studio apartment. I continually browse decor items, pretending to have the space to place it in my apartment. One item in particular that I am looking to replace is my throw blanket. While there is nothing wrong with the current one I have, I am getting a little tired of the grey color. It feels stale now. This blue throw blanket would be the perfect pop of color I need for the overall aesthetics of my couch.
For a decor item that I wish I could place around my house is this beautiful green garden tray. This looks like an item you would inherit from your chic grandmother. Speaking of gardens, I would like new hand towels and these botanique print towels would look so pretty in the kitchen. They would go beautifully with these floral cocktail napkins— would make for a great Mother’s Day gift.
Last year I was looking for a landscape painting to put above my tv console. If I hadn’t already bought (and loved) this painting, I would have gone with this one— much more affordable being under $30.
