“And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.”

-Matthew 21:22

Happy Friday and happy Easter weekend! It’s been a gloomy week here but I am still hoping for some sunshine this weekend. A chance to get out and about. To enjoy the city in the spring. I am starting to get cabin fever.

Last weekend was pouring down rain. I spent most of it binge watching Bridgerton. It got me excited for the new season and for the Queen Charlotte spin-off. There was fortunately a break in the rain for me to go and buy a new book. Also to attend church for Palm Sunday.

The rest of my week was focused on putting out little fires. Monday morning I had 2 technical issues and an ongoing battle. My blog’s media has spam photos– fortunately it is not being shown on the blog, just behind the scenes. I have been working with Chloe Digital, who I work with for tech support, and my blog’s hosting company to figure out what is going on. The problem still lingers, but hopefully will be fixed soon. The other technical issue was a webinar that I couldn’t access– but it turns out that wasn’t on my end but theirs. And last but definitely not least, my Con Edison account. Someone (either Con Ed or my Landlord) canceled my account without my consent back in January and it’s been an ongoing, back and forth, issue. It’s finally fixed but it’s been a headache.

Luckily I was able to go to DanceBody Tuesday morning so shake off my stress of Monday. The Q2 dances are here and they are amazing! There is still one or two dances that they have yet to introduce, and will do so in the next week or two. The first week of new dances we learn a few 8 counts, but mostly it’s a following along and try to pick it up. I love this method because it challenges me. And luckily they have a break-down section on their website to learn each dance. So far my favorite dances are Taste, Break It Off, and Tití Me Preguntó.

What I am watching: The Masters is this weekend and I have been watching a little here and there. I enjoy watching golf but wouldn’t say I am a big fan. I learned what an eagle was yesterday, ha. Still I find golf to be soothing to watch and The Masters to be exciting. I do have a few favorites that I am rooting for; Spieth, Scheffler, Mcilroy, and of course Tiger. However, thanks to Netflix’s Full Swing I know more of the players, so it’s much more exciting this year.

What I bought: I saw that J.Crew teamed up with Recess for an exclusive collection of pickleball paddles. I have been wanting to learn how to play pickleball since its popularity has boomed over the last few years. I bought this pretty floral one from the collection. I figured if I buy a paddle it will encourage me to play this summer.

Also from J.Crew I bought these slim wide-leg jean in white. The website says it runs big, but I still bought my normal size. I will most likely have to exchange it, but my size can vary so I wanted a starting out point.

Last weekend I bought a new book– the first of the Twisted series from Ana Huang. I have been devouring Twisted Love all week. It has so many unexpected plot twists that makes me continue to turn the page.

This weekend I will be attending church for Easter Sunday. Hopefully the Easter bunny will grace you with chocolates and Jelly beans. I have been snacking on the Cadbury mini eggs, trying to will myself not to devour the entire bag. Other than eating my weight in chocolate eggs, I will be finishing my book, strolling through the city, and enjoying whatever may come my way.

Have a wonderful weekend xo
