As the season starts to change to colder temperatures this is usually the time of year where I switch from looking like a bright highlighter to dark and gloomy winter attire. However, this year I have been pushing back my black on black go-to’s for lighter colors. This fall season I have been wearing more whites and creams than ever before. I know, white after Labor Day, blah blah blah. I’ve never much cared for that rule anyhow. Although I am not running around in white sundresses, I am wearing cream-colored sweaters and white and tan checkered pants. Both are perfectly acceptable to wear this crisp season. Why wait until winter, let’s start wearing fall whites!

Where does one begin when wearing an all-white outfit? Well, I turned to the most fashionably chic women on the planet… the French. Sézane has the most beautiful sweaters for the fall season. This sweater is honestly the softest knit I have ever worn. There are buttons in the back that you can wear the front as well, to change up your look. I am wearing a small if that helps with sizing because I know European sizing can be confusing sometimes. The Clara Trousers are also very comfortable, and high-waisted! It comes in different colors, which I want to buy all of. For sizing, I had to size up and am wearing a size 4. Wearing all white in the fall and winter does not have to feel summery, it can feel cozy and warm. And if French women say we can wear fall whites, then we can wear fall whites– assez parlé!
