This past weekend I went for a girls trip to the Hamptons. Ashley, Elena and I, in our rented Mazda (thanks Mazda!), took a little road trip Thursday night. The other girls,  Victoria, Sam, Gabby, Lynn, and Laura all arrived Friday. The entire weekend was amazing!! I can honestly say it was one of the best weekends of my life. I had so much fun with the girls and really got closer to a few of them. I was having so much fun that I barely took any pictures (only Insta Stories), and all of my pictures are on iPhone…. so some of these pictures are blurry. Not sorry at all, I had a great time and want to share with you the few pictures I did take and what my girls weekend entailed.

Since Ashley, Elena and I got there a day before everyone else, we spent all of Friday afternoon hanging out around the house and by the house pool… working. All 3 of us had a lot of work to do before the fun really began and we could shut down our computers for (most) of the weekend. Even though we spent the first day working, it was still nice to hang out and talk, have some peace and quiet. The house we stayed in is located in East Hampton in a secluded area filled with lots of trees. At first it felt like a slasher movie scene, but I got over it quickly when I came to terms that if I was going to die, I might as well die in the Hamptons. Anyway, we had a lovely Friday afternoon.

Friday evening we were invited to the EMP Summer House kick off party. EMP Summer House is the Eleven Madison Park’s new Hampton’s restaurant (since EMP in Manhattan is currently being renovated). The entire night was a dream! There were a ton of celebrities and big time bloggers there. The drinks were delicious and the food…. oh my goodness it was SO good!

The EMP Summer House has a huge backyard. By the end of the night all of us sat on this big cushioned seat laughing and talking until the end of the evening. This night was really one of the best nights ever. It felt like a dream and I wanted someone to pinch me! It was amazing!!

The next morning Ashley, Elena and I went to Gurney’s Resorts in Montauk for one of Suzie’s, owner of Wellth Collective, workout classes. The morning class was yoga, followed by a quick meditation with Biet Simkin.  While we were doing yoga and meditating there was a thunderstorm going on, only to become sunny and warm the second we were done. It was quite nice really. After yoga we headed down to the beach for the ENTIRE afternoon. My skin is still on fire but it was worth every second of it. We decided to live a little and bought a bottle of champagne and one too many glasses of rosé. We also had lunch on the beach– I had veggie tacos and they were amazing. After we turned our bodies into lobsters, we headed home to get ready for the evening.

We were originally going to meet the rest of the girls in the house at Surf Lodge in Montauk, but once we got to the bar the Fire Marshal shut down the line and no one was allowed in. So Elena, Ashley and I went over to Rushmeyer’s to meet up with Tilly (who was staying in Montauk) for the night. We had a pretty great time there!

Sunday morning Elena, Ashley and I went into town in East Hampton to eat brunch at Babette’s and do a little shopping. At Babette’s we each had a watermelon mimosa….. highly suggest it! After walking around town the three of us headed back to the house to hang out by the pool and drink more rosé from Whispering Angel. The company was sweet enough to gift us a few cases of rosé… really had to twist my arm on that one….

We had a great time hanging out by the pool and chit-chatting about life. Elena, unfortunately, had to leave to head back to the city Sunday afternoon. After we dropped her off at the train station, Ashley and I drove up to Montauk to see the lighthouse and to have a few drinks at sunset at Surf Lodge. It was the perfect ending to an amazing weekend! While watching the sunset all I could think about was how happy I was at that moment. How grateful I am for my life, family, and friends.

I sadly left the Hamptons Monday morning. My skin, however, is really happy I am not there.  I really  do wish I could have stayed a few more days. Some of the girls are staying for the week, since they have to work out there. I may go back sometime in early August for a few days, but we will see.
