Fashion Week isn’t all about parties, clothes, champagne, shopping, and ridiculously chic people. No, us bloggers received a little education at the ShopStyle’s Social House about the combining of fashion and technology.  What I eagerly learned about is a new app called Emoticode. But before I start using tech and fashion lingo and completely confuse you (mom), let me break it down and describe to you in this simple way: shop my outfits through emoji’s.  Now I know you are curious…. and no this isn’t me creating a Lizzie McGuire sized avatar of me in different outfits. You get the real me, in real clothes– which I know is probably not as cool as Lizzie. I apologize.

So lets get on with what I am actually trying to talk about. You are all (I think) using Snapchat? I love Snapchat. I am that person who posts selfies of themselves with a dog face or flower crowns. But to the surprise of some of my followers, I use it for my business. I interact with followers, I give live updates on what I am currently eating, I complain about the heat, and I go a little crazy at night snapping every moment when someone actually invites me out. But now I can do more! I can show you what I am wearing and then you can shop my outfit directly from Snapchat. It is so simple to do.

1.Download Emoticode

2. Follow me on Snapchat: Mtate24

3. Screenshot any images where you see the ghost and the rocket emoji together (see picture above) with random letters/numbers after it.

4. Open up Emoticode

5. Click on the image/link of the screenshot—it will take you directly to the website in which the particular item is from

6. Shop and buy the item

And there you have it! Pretty cool huh? I will do my best to Snapchat my outfits, decor, makeup, and accessories as much as possible so you may shop my looks right then and there. And no this does not mean I will stop posting selfies of myself in flower crowns.
