What a weekend! From hanging out with family and friends to one of the best fireworks display I have seen, the 4th was wonderful. I think this was the first year that I really took in the spirit of the community, and how everyone in town was out and about all day long celebrating, catching up, and having fun. I wouldn’t change a minute of it. Hope your weekend was just as wonderful!

Now that the 4th is over, my focus is on enjoying the rest of summer and wearing cute summer outfits like this bow, eyelet romper. The first time I saw this romper I instantly fell in love as I thought it was so me–feminine, light blue (my favorite color), romper style, bows. I couldn’t ask for anything more.  The fit has some shape to it, but not form fitting and still pretty true to size. I am wearing an extra small and still have room but could not go down a size. The back is open but by tying the two bows together closes the gap. I was a little concern about the open back as it is not a style that I am used to and I was concern about the bra situation (isn’t that always the case). Luckily the bows cover my strapless bra. Hallelujah.

What really drew me to this romper is how feminine it is. When shopping for clothes I am usually drawn to anything with a feminine touch. I always feel more put together and confident in my clothes when there is a ladylike feel to it. Rompers are the most versatile article of clothing varying between casual to dressy, masculine to feminine. An overall easy to wear piece and one trend that I do not see fading away anytime soon.
