Happy Friday!! This past week was a busy one with two fun-filled events. The first one was hosted by Body Conceptions (see past post here) at Athleta. It was their mid-challenge re-charge. They treated us to a 10 minute, heaven sent, massage, a beauty mask made of snail slim to try, and was introduced to a physical therapist we get to work with throughout the challenge. Oh, we also got a discount on Athleta activewear and I bought these pants and may never take them off. GET THEM NOW! Anyway, the evening was fun and I enjoyed getting to know some of the other girls taking the challenge.

You are probably stuck on the snail slim facial mask aren’t you? Created by Shray, the Love Mask (which I believe is not out yet?) is made up of snail slim and other natural ingredients. I got the under eye mask treatment and my face felt plumped and rejuvenated afterwards. Like I understand now what celebrities feel like when they get lip injections. The technician, when examining my face, asked what products I was currently using. I said moisturizer (as I did not have makeup on except mascara). She looked shocked. I use a cleanser then only put on moisturizer with SPF. Boom. Done. Perfect complexion. Some how by the look on her face I arrogantly took it as a look of “can’t believe how great your skin looks with only one product”, but her words were “your face is really dry, if you don’t put something else on it, your skin will evaporate.” So I went from thinking I looked like the rosy cheek filter on Snapchat to an image of my face as a skeleton with blue eyes. Not an aesthetic I am going for here. I guess I will be running into Sephora today screaming “Help!! My face is evaporating!!!”

The second event I attended this past week was held at Joli Beauty Bar in Soho, hosted by my friend Emily from The Lipstick Fever. The event was all about getting your hair and makeup done, tips on dating etiquette, and a chance to get your headshot taken for your dating profile. I chose to eat the yummy appetizers and drink rose instead of the beauty/dating app stuff. ha. There were A TON of people there and it was hard to get around, but I met some great blogging girls! So all in all I ate food and made new friends— successful evening if I do say so myself!

This weekend I have nothing going on except working out. Yay! I am exited to relax, stroll around the city and see where the day takes me.

Enjoy your weekend! xo
