During this time of the year I start to feel an nostalgia for back to school. There was always an excitement in the air of a new year, seeing my friends everyday, and being one year older and cooler. I loved going back to school, buying new school supplies and clothes. A time when your biggest worry was homework, whether or not your friends are in your class, and picking out a stylish new backpack.

Ever have one of those days when all you want to do is surround yourself with beautiful things? Ok, true, that is everyday for me too, but there are days when I need a little extra inspiration. When that extra spark of beauty is needed I follow these three simple rules: wear something new, buy myself flowers and eat macarons. It immediately brightens my day whenever I do this.
Are any of you just as obsessed with the Olympics as I am? It has been hard for me to basically do anything besides watch event after event. From Phelps to The Final Five (Aly Raisman is my girl by the way! Total #girlboss!), these Olympics games have been pretty exciting! As a ballet dancer it felt right that I should try some of the gymnastic tricks in my living room…… lets just say there is a reason I am not an Olympian.
