The morning of Christmas to me is the most magical part of the day. You know that Santa has arrived and you are so close to opening up all of your presents—the excitement keeps building. The first thing we do on Christmas morning is open our stockings. We hang our stockings above the fireplace in our family room and have our Christmas tree with the rest of the presents in our living room. So while we opening up our stockings, we have no idea what lays under the tree. It is all very exciting!
One of my many goals in 2017 is to travel more. There are SO many places I have been dreaming of visiting–Paris and Charleston are on top of my list. I am hoping this year is the year I go to at least one, hopefully both. Sometimes I think about going over to Europe by myself for 2 months……. but I have seen Taken way too many times to do it.

Have you ever had an item that you have been coveting over for years? Something that you know is in your reach (affordable), yet for some reason you have not pulled the trigger into buying it? Well this coat is the item that I have been longing for for years.
My entire family is predominantly female. I only have one sister and of course there is my mom. My extended family is filled with more aunts than uncles, a female cousin, an my grandmother (I also have a very small family). Since my family is filled with mostly women, my Christmas shopping is spent looking at items in the women’s department, and items I would buy myself: “You need a new coat mom”….. then I steal it.
