The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale has begun! Right now it is Early Access for those who are card members and will open to the public on the 15th. As always the Anniversary Sale includes women, men, and children clothing, beauty and skincare products and tools, activewear, handbags and accessories, shoes, and home goods. This is a great time to purchase fall and winter items that you have been eyeing like coats, sweaters, and boots. Personally I like to shop the Anniversary Sale for skincare and beauty products that would normally be a little pricier. Last month Tuckernuck collaborated with Cameran Eubanks on an exclusive collection. It instantly sold out within minutes of the release. Luckily they brought everything back in stock! For those of you who are not familiar with Cameran, she is a reality star from Bravo’s Southern Charm. But those of us elder millennials remember her from Real World: San Diego in 2004. I have always admire Cameran’s cute southern style and was thrilled upon hearing about the collaboration. I know there was going to be cute dresses, lots of florals, and feminine touches. As the 4th of July is less than a week away, I thought I’d share what I will be wearing celebrate. For the holiday I will be in Columbus with my family. We will do the usual; parade in the morning, picnic in the afternoon, and fireworks at the park. It’s always a fun, joyful day filled with festivities and cheer. (more…)

The 4th of July is quickly approaching! It’s time to start figuring out what to wear to celebrate Independence Day with a cute red, white, and blue outfit. For the 4th of July I usually like to wear a dress. It’s easy and comfortable to wear from the morning parade to evening fireworks and every cookout in between. This year I will be in Columbus for the 4th. My hometown of Upper Arlington gets really into the 4th of July, it’s an all day spectacle. I bought this Maxwell and Geraldine stripe dress in blue to wear on the 4th. The city of Columbus host an annual massive fireworks display on the 3rd of July called Red, White, and Boom. I haven’t celebrated the 3rd of July since my early 30’s, but just in case one of my friends decides to have a cookout I am ready with my navy nap dress. I also bought this white romper for a costume change. Only kidding…. I am taken it with me for a backup plan. Besides it makes for a great summer outfit to throw on to go run errands or meet up with friends for dinner.
