One thing Carrie Bradshaw and I do not have in common is our choice for everyday footwear. While Carrie galavants all over the Upper East Side in 4 inch heels, I prefer sneakers and ballet flats. As spring is upon us and my Florida vacation is right around the corner, I have been shopping for items to wear. Of course my go-to item for such an occasion is and will always be dresses. I am the friend of J.Crew’s that will be there through thick and thin. We all know they have gone through a lot of changes over the last 10 years. Sometimes they come through on amazing seasonal collections, and other times trying to find its place amongst the evolving trends, not always hitting the mark. Through it all, the good seasons and the bad, I have always shopped at the beloved brand. Finding at least one or two items a season to buy. Although I am ready for warmer weather, and have been browsing spring items, it is still cold here in New York. It’s going to be a while before I can throw on a floral dress and aimlessly walk around the city enjoying the sunshine. Instead there will be a few more months left of bundling up in winter coats.
