“I am a lover with or without a lover. Love is who I am, not who I’m with”

-Sylvia Plath

Happy Friday! It’s been a dramatic week…..

All week I have been dealing with fraud on my bank account. Unfortunately someone altered my rent check and cashed it. Stole it from the mailbox. I saw on my account that the amount was taken out, but didn’t look at the scanned check. I didn’t find out until my landlord emailed me to say I didn’t pay rent for September. That’s when I looked into it because I did… I have the receipt. So my bank closed my account and reopened a new one. I have been dealing with reopening a new account, dealing with the fraud department, and trying to keep my landlord penalizing me for rent being late. Luckily I have an account at another bank that I opened up a few years ago for emergencies, which was clearly a very smart move. I haven’t been deprived of money, but I have been making sure not to more than necessities.

My week did start out wonderful! Last weekend I went to the Harry Styles concert at MSG and it was AMAZING! Truly one of the most fun concerts I have ever been to. The stage is circular with a ring around it, so there isn’t a bad seat in the building. I could easily see him when he was on the other side of the stadium. Anyway, the concert felt like being in a club; retro effects, colorful lighting, and great beats. Harry even DJ’d at one point! He was dancing, running around, interacting with the audience. I sang, danced, sipped on a White Claw, and had so much fun with everyone!

The rest of my week was spent at work. I was suppose to have a private styling session, but unfortunately she had to cancel. Hopefully will reschedule soon. I really enjoy doing these private sessions. A great way to get creative, reimagine outfits, and help people feel good in their new clothes.

What I am watching: I binged watched the first half of the new season of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. I have to say, I am very much over Taylor and Dakota’s drama. It’s unhealthy. They both need to seek help. I used to love Taylor, rooted for her. Now it is hard to watch her distructive behavior, and how she treats her friends. I do, however, enjoyed the rest of the other girls and their petty drama. I would actually love to follow Whitney and Connor in their endeavors. Would have loved to have seen her in rehearsals for Chicago. That, to me, would have been much more interesting than the toxicity of Taylor and Dakota.

I also started season two of The Gentleman on Netflix. I am only on episode 2, and so far find it to be a slow start. I felt the same way with last season, so looking forward to what is to come. But let’s be honest, I am really only watching it to look at Theo James.

The Love Hypothesis is finally out and I LOVED it!! I read the book and really enjoyed that as well. I didn’t noticed anything major in terms of changes. If there were, I didn’t notice. My only complaint was that the actor playing Adam made him a little too robotic. Yes he is socially awkward, but some parts felt like he was too rigid. Besides that it’s a feel-good romance that is a must-watch!

What I bought: Well since I don’t have a bank account I wasn’t able to really buy anything. I did, however, get my favorite night cream because I was out of it.

This weekend I have a private styling session with a reoccurring client. I am excited to work with her again and help her build her fall wardrobe. Other than that most likely just taking it easy since I can’t really do anything without a bank account, haha!

Have a wonderful weekend xo
