Happy Friday and a very happy Dolly Parton day to those that celebrate! It’s going to be a very sparkly day from start to finish!

This week was very busy with the Tuckernuck’s Friends and Family sale that happened- ended yesterday. We had a lot of people come in to shop, and reach out to us to purchase. It was a great way to clientele!

I had a dermatology appointment earlier this week. I haven’t been to my dermatologist in over a year… I know, I know. Unfortunately the doctor I went to no longer carries my insurance so I had to find someone new. I needed to get skin screening as I do have a few spots that are raised, but thankfully it is nothing to worry about. I usually am pretty good at keeping up to date with my doctor appointments, for some reason I just kept putting off my dermatology visit. And here we are, a year later, past due for a check up.

Also this past week I finally got my hair done. I desperately needed to touch up my roots. Now I am back to being fully blonde and having more fun! I enjoyed going to my hair salon in the lower east side. The place has great vibes all around; pink walls, large murals, funky furniture and decor, and great music. I also enjoy chit-chatting with my colorist. We always talk about tv shows we are watching, books we are reading, and the midwest where we are both from.

What I am watching: I needed something light to watch and everyone has been raving about Crew Girl on Netflix. It’s another silly romance show about teenagers. This time at a prep school, and it’s about the crew team. So far it’s enjoyable! It’s doing what it needs to do; entertain me and allow me to not think much.

Aside from my little escapism, I also started Ryan Murphy’s Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story on Netflix. Everyone knows the infamous Lizzie Borden. However, to be honest, I don’t know everything that happened. I have only seen a few episodes so far but think it’s good. I will say the 2nd episode I was not a fan of. I truly hate the imagery of a close up of someone eating, as well as using food as symbolism, it makes me queasy.

What I bought: I ended up buying this olive jacket from Tuckernuck. Unfortunately I got an email saying that they had to cancel the order because it was out of stock. I am pretty bummed about it! Hoping they will restock!

This weekend I am going to the Harry Styles concert!! I am so excited to see it, as everyone here has been raving about how great it is! It was a last minute decision to go, so I have to shop in my closet for an outfit to wear. I’ll probably end up wearing a feather top with jeans. It’s fun, yet practical for the Nor’Easter that is about to hit us. Other than the concert I will be working, reading, and enjoying the weekend.
