Happy Sunday! This week’s Sunday Shopping is going to be a little different. As I turn another year older tomorrow, I decided to create a little birthday wishlist. My true wishlist isn’t something you can purchase at a store, nor can you get at a whim.  Although I guess I could buy tickets to Paris on a whim… Anyway, this current list is curated by 10 items I am either wanting or need.

Cashmere Set: While I do not necessarily need a new lounge set, I’ve ben trying to elevate my fall and winter leisure looks. There is only so many days and nights I can wear sweatpants. This lounge set ( top and bottom) with its ultra soft cashmere material and relaxed fit, will make me feel luxurious and put together while I am sprawled out on the couch rewatching Gilmore Girls. At lest it will help me pretend I have my life together. It comes in different colors, but I liked the wheat as it feels more timeless. What is great about this set is that I can mix and match. The cashmere hoodie can be worn with leggings while I quickly run to the grocery store. The bottoms can be worn with oversized sweaters to switch up my at-home style.

Wrap Coat: This is an investment piece that will always be in style for years and year. Not only does it look chic, it looks so cozy as well. It’s a great weekend coat to throw on over jeans, satin or cashmere pants; for both comfort and style. The sand color and striped pattern creates an elegant look that catches the eye. It’s a relaxed fit with a removable tie-waist belt for even more comfort.

Satin Pants: It’s no secret that I have been coveting satin pants for a few years now. My love for them clearly has not stopped. It’s chic, comfortable, and versatile. These creme colored pants have been on my radar for a few months now and I finally purchased them! Still waiting for their arrival and hope they fit- bought an XS. Although I am sure I may need to hem them a little. Anyway, I decided to get the creme color as it can be worn year round. It would look so chic with a white sweater for the winter, and a linen blouse for the summer.

Multi Beaded Necklace: Another big trend in the last few years has  been beaded necklaces. While I adore wearing my green beaded necklace from Sézane (no longer in stock) during the spring and summer, I am looking for a more autumn colored one to wear as the season changes. This beaded necklace is currently top of the list. I love the fall-like colors that can be worn with a variety of different outfits. I also like the silver-tone hardware detail between each bead, giving it a more cohesive look.

LED Mask: This may be something that I gift myself for my birthday (besides the dresser but that was a necessity). I have been browsing and researching LED masks for years, and feel this one is the right fit for me. It’s red and near-infrared light targets fine lines and wrinkles. Exactly what this aging gal needs. The design is flexible so it molds to your face rather than having you feel  like Iron Man. I have heard great reviews, and have seen people showcase their results.

Dresser: I mentioned in my Friday’s Simply Smitten series this past week that I already purchased this 6-drawer dresser as I desperately needed one. My current dresser has seen better days. I bought it when I first moved to NYC at some random furniture store near my apartment that was having a clearance sale. It has been with me through all the ups and downs of apartment moving over the past decade, but it’s time to say goodbye. It’s time to upgrade to something nicer and better quality. I was torn between this dresser and this cane dresser (currently on sale!), but my wise mother told me in my sauna of an apartment the cane may warp. But my goodness do I love the look of it– as well as the dresser I bought. I needed a tall structure to fit into my studio, as well as lots of drawers for my clothes. I love the antique bronze handles and the framed drawers, creating a nice, luxurious detailing.

Satin Clutch; This is definitely a want more than a need. However, it’s just too pretty not to have. The green coloring is perfect for not only the fall, but for all seasons. The satin material elevates the handbag, so can be worn to any and all occasions. This is a clutch I can wear out at night to the bar or styled with a cocktail dress for a wedding. The green color is something I do not have in my current handbag collection. In fact, I am trying to expand the collection by adding more colorful pieces as most, if not all, are neutrals.

Sneakers: This is both a need and a want. I do need new sneakers, or at least an extra pair that I can alternate with. I love my white Tretorn and will continue to wear them and purchase them, but they do easily get worn out. I tend to buy a new pair at the beginning of spring each year. I would like another set of elevated, yet casual sneakers to wear and can alternate between the two. These almond and white ones have been on my radar for a very long time, and I think it’s time to hit the purchase bottom.

Stud Earrings: These gold-plated moonstone earrings are ones to buy now, wear later. They are classic, chic, and fashionable. Something that would have been worn by my grandmother. The moonstone with the gold-plate is very elegant and timeless. While oversized, they make a statement while maintaining its sophistication.

So there you have it, my current birthday wishlist. And to be honest, it was sorta hard to create this list. Of course there are a TON of items that I would love to have- hello fringe cape wool coat– I was trying to narrow it down to items I have either been coveting for a while or currently need.
