Happy Friday! Can you all please stop going to see The Odyssey?! Every time I look at movie times there isn’t any available. One time I was put into a queue to even take a peek. I am glad you are all interested in Greek Mythology, but throw a girl a bone here!

This past week has been more work than play.I have been very busy at my job as a stylist for Tuckernuck, as well as keeping up with blog content. I am still trying to find a balance, and I think once the fall hits I will be able to manage it better. Right now my schedule is so up in the air, but once the fall season arrives my week to week will be more consistent.

I am really loving my job at Tuckernuck. I am happy there! I love everyone I work with, and the clientele is wonderful. Plus it doesn’t hurt to look at pretty garments and accessories all day. We are slowly rolling out some pre-fall items. A few that have me swooning over them: this to-die-for fringe leather jacket, this pretty striped shirtdress, this elegant brown lace dress (also found here with more sizes), and this multi-colored beaded necklace that I would wear daily. More fall items will be rolled out in the next few weeks, so stop by, say hi, and take a look at our new collection!

What I am watching: I watched the entirety of Elle – the prequel to Legally Blonde on Prime. I adored it!! The actress who plays Elle did a great job; same mannerisms, the bubbly personality, etc. I thought the show was the right amount of silliness while having an intriguing storyline. Plus I love the nostalgic feels of the 90s. Outside of Elle, my favorite character is Liz. I enjoy their unconventional friendship. And to be brutally honest, I find neither Dustin nor Miles to be great candidates for a love triangle. Neither one is attractive. Although I will say Miles is slightly more attractive, but that is only because he has the bowl haircut all the cute boys of my youth had back then… so I will give him that. And yes, I am a 40year old woman discussing a teen show, haha!

I watched the movie Reminders of Him starring Lauren Graham, Tyriq Withers, Maika Monroe, Rudy Pankow, Bradly Whitford, and more. It’s an adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s book, same title. I did not read the book; although I intended to and may still do. I hear the book is much better. Overall I enjoyed it, got a little teary-eyed at the end. You can watch it on Peacock.

What I bought: Since I went on a little shopping spree last week, I didn’t want to buy anything new this week. However, I did get one or two new items.

White Crewneck Sweater: Just what I needed, another white sweater. However, I got it for work and have to say, I am loving it. It’s comfortable. I can wear it now in the summer, and well into the fall season. It runs slightly big; I am in-between an XS and a small. I ended up getting the small because I do like my sweaters to be slightly oversized.

Vitamin C Serum: I used to use this serum as part of my morning skincare routine. However, since I do get sent a good amount of skincare products I haven’t repurchased it in a while. I do need to add vitamin C back into my skincare regime as it helps with sunspots, and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

This weekend I will be working. We have inventory in a few days, so it’s going to be busy! I was going to go out for a drink, but may just cancel my plans to get some rest before the craziness of the day.
