“And a softness came from the starlight and filled me to the bone”

-W.B. Yeats

Happy Friday! I am very much over the winter and its dramatics. After last weekend’s blizzard, I am hoping we saw the last of the snow fall. I am going to stay in my delusion, pretend it’s sunny and 60, and daydream of not being cold.

As you can guess I have been hibernating in my apartment all week, avoiding the snow. I did get out and about to get some fresh air and enjoy a little art. I walked around the Chelsea Art Galleries, taking in the new exhibitions. While not all were my cup of tea, it still sparks my creativity. There were exhibits anywhere from avant-garde works to porcelain sculptures. All individually stimulating. I love walking around the art galleries every once in a while, as they switched up the exhibitions, just so I can be around creativity. Especially when I am feeling uninspired or stuck in a rut.

The rest of my week was filled with mostly prepping for my vacation, scheduling appointments and meetings, and pitching to brands for possible collaborations. I have a bunch of fun events coming up, so spent this week doing mostly admin work.

What I am watching: Season 2 of Paradise is here and it’s SO GOOD! I have watched the first 3 episodes that have aired and loved each one. Especially the first episode, I thought it was so well done. I am excited to see how the rest of the season unfolds.

I am in the middle of season 3 of The Night Agent. I have to admit I am having a harder time getting into this season than prior ones. I know it will all come together towards the end, but right now it feels like there are too many side characters. I am still enjoying the season, just hasn’t been my favorite thus far. That could change as I continue to watch it; I believe I am on episode 5.

What I bought: As mentioned I have been shopping for items to wear while on vacation. So far I have only bought this floral dress and this gingham top. Seems like I have been gravitating more towards blue and white items.

This weekend I currently have nothing planned except to go to the book store. I want to get a book or two for vacation. Other than that I think I will be out and about as much as possible to enjoy this sunshine reprieve we are having from freezing temps. Oh, and of course, watch the rest of Bridgerton!!

Enjoy your weekend xo
