Happy Friday, and happy Taylor Swift’s End of an Era docuseries release day to all that celebrate!!! I am very excited to watch the first 2 episodes tonight and see all the behind the scenes footage. I think it’s going to be a great documentary!

Besides patiently waiting to relive the greatest moment of my life (the Eras Tour concert), this past week I was all business. I worked tirelessly to get my holiday gift guides out for you all to shop! I really enjoy doing gift guides. I think it’s fun to gather items that I love, that you may be interested in, and to make holiday shopping (hopefully) easier for you. You can check out all my gift guides here on the blog or on ShopMy.

Before I got lost in the craft of gift guides, I celebrated the holidays with friends. Last weekend I went to a holiday party at my friend’s apartment uptown. It was a cookie exchange party. I made gluten free sugar cookies that I added sprinkles to to make it more festive. The party was fun; mingling with friends I haven’t seen for a while, sipping champagne, and eating cookies. I was a wonderful, festive party!

Also last weekend I went to the Park Ave. Christmas tree(s) lighting ceremony. Since 1945 the Presbyterian Church on Park Ave has held an outdoor lighting event for the Upper East Side residents. It’s been a wonderful tradition that gathers a great crowd. At the event we sing carols, the minister talks about the history of the event, then they light the trees. All along Park Ave. the church puts white lights on the trees and it’s a wonderful thing to see. The event itself only last 30 minutes, but it’s so worth going. This is my second year attending and hopefully not the last. I go with a group of my friends who live in the UES. Sorta like an honorary Upper East Sider. Afterwards we went to Dorrian’s for a few drinks. Another little tradition that we started last year.

This past week I went to the Barefaced x In My Sundays event, hosted by ShopMy. It was a pop-up shopping event down in Soho. It was nice to see the products in person, and to chat with the women of Barefaced; getting to know a little bit more about the company and the products. I went home with some toning pads and a bio collagen mask that was created just for the event.

Some good news to share! I am now a member of CAKE! While walking to the subway after the Barefaced event, I stumbled upon CAKE handing out hot chocolate. I have been thinking about becoming a member for a while now and thought this was a great time to actually talk to the team, and get a better understanding of the app. I have a few Influencer friends who are part of the membership and I’ve been curious about it. It’s a shopping app that you get perks on. They partner with a brand, like Hill House Home for example, where you can get $50 off (maybe even more) to shop. It’s at not additional cost to you- you do not end up paying back the gift certificate. You can join as a guest (for free) to shop brand partnerships, or you can join as a member ($100 for the year) to get invited to exclusive events. I joined as a member for the all of the above, plus influencer events. It was so lovely to talk to the team and get to know them! I hung out for a while talking to them about the company and life in general. It felt kismet in a way; to finally join by being introduced to the team. I am excited to really dive into it next year!

*You need an invite to join, so just email or DM me and I will send you one!

What I am watching: Man on the Inside, starring Ted Danson, is back on Netflix for season 2!! I love this show. It sorta has the feel good vibes of Ted Lasso, but with a mystery to solve. I watched the entirety of season 2 and really liked it! Especially the last two episodes- I was cracking up!

I finally caught up with Southern Charm. I missed the first 3 episodes because I was busy. It’s one of my favorite Bravo shows. I love seeing life in Charleston; as well as their houses. Madison’s new house is stunning! A dream house! Madison has become my favorite on the show over the years. Especially now with her being married, having another kid, and really doing well in life. She is also funny with her one-liners and giving the guys crap for basically existing. She was the perfect choice to replace Cameron. The men on this show are pathetic and always will be. I don’t know if I can watch Shep being 45 years old hitting on younger girls anymore. It’s gross. The new cast member Whitner seems like a great guy who has his life together….. he needs to abort mission! Save yourself from becoming like the rest of the men on this show. With that being said, I do love to watch the mess.

What I bought: Majority of what I bought this week were Christmas presents. I am officially done with all of my holiday shopping! However, I didn’t forget myself. I bought this chic leopard jacket to wear. Feels very modern day Jackie Kennedy and Grace Kelly.

This weekend I am having brunch with a few friends, then we are going to walk around the West Village to look at holiday decor. Besides that I am not sure what else I am going to do. Perhaps go somewhere festive for a drink or stay-in and watch a holiday movie. Either one sounds fun for me!
