Happy Friday! Let the holiday festivities begin! From gathering with friends to attending events, I have plunged head first into the merriment of the season.

Monday night I went crosstown to Plug Uglies for a night out with a few friends. A friend of ours was in town visiting from Sweden- she moved there a year ago with her boyfriend. Let’s just say we had way too much fun for a Monday night! I haven’t laughed that hard in a long time. It was so wonderful to catch up with my friends, as well as make new friends.

I somehow got myself up and at ’em the next morning to do DanceBody at home. I have a much better grasp on all the dances. Still mess up “Yeah” by Usher here and there. However, I finally nailed down “3” by Britney dance. I’ve been enjoying dancing to that one now. I need to get myself to the studio before the new year.

That afternoon I went to Bobo in West Village for the Tractenberg Merry Market event. Each holiday season Tractenberg host an event with a bunch of different vendors. Always small to medium size companies. The type of brands range from haircare to protein powder. You go from booth to booth to hear about each brands new product. It a fun way to discover new brands or products to love, and we always go home with lots of goodies in the gift bag. One item I am particularly excited about is a lipgloss from Lip Lab. I got to create my own lip gloss at the event. Well they created it for me, but I got to pick out the color, scent, and whether we want shine to it or not. I picked out a rose color and added a little shimmer to it.

Last night I went uptown to Buru to celebrate their new collection with author Anna Kloots. The collection is darling! I have my eye on this pink taffeta dress – perfect for year round. To the event I wore these navy embroidered pants with the matching big bow blouse. It looks super cute and chic. The event was lots of fun! I couldn’t stop eating the little potatoes with caviar. I am such a sucker for caviar. Anyway, it was nice to catch up with some friends, and finally meet Anna and her family who are also from Ohio!

After the event I walked over to Orsay for dinner with my friend Patti. We used to be in the Junior League together and recently reconnected! It’s been so nice to hang out again. This was my first time going to the staple UES french restaurant and it did not disappoint. They have a lot of gluten free main dish options. I got the chicken and mashed potatoes-  it was delicious. The dinner was wonderful. We talked about anything and everything!

What I am watching: My favorite German teen show is back, Maxton Hall, on Prime! Based on the 2018 German YA book series Save Me by Mona Kasten. The Prime show is in German, but they dub over it in English. I’ve watched enough foreign tv shows and films that I do not even notice that the words do not match the mouth. Anyway, the show is filled with drama, teen romance, and classicism.

What I bought: I quickly snatched this ecru cable knit sweater. It comes in and out of stock so ask to get notified if your size. I am planning on wearing it with an off-white silk skirt for Christmas Eve. I also bought this black lace skirt to wear to a holiday party or perhaps on New Year’s Eve.

This weekend I am volunteering as an Usher at The Joyce Theater. On stage this week they have Complexions Contemporary Ballet performing. For one week only, they are performing 3 different Programs. I will be seeing Program A. I am very excited to see the world premiere of “Young Lovers”. Other than my night at the theater, I will be taking it easy this weekend. After a week of drinks and socializing, I need to rest. Especially before Thanksgiving next week!

Have a wonderful weekend xo
