Thanksgiving tablescape

Thanksgiving is quickly approaching! You have picked out your outfit, wrote down the dinner menu, and finalized the plans. Now it’s time think about the tablescape aesthetic. If I were to host a Thanksgiving dinner I would have as many fall florals as possible. Of course this is no big surprise, ha!

The making of a great tablescape starts with the tablecloth. If you have printed plates then I would suggest having a solid color tablecloth. Vice versa if you have plates in one color then you can go wild with the print of the tablecloth. This scalloped edge tablecloth in butter is perfect to set your tablescape aesthetic. It comes in different colors, but I like the yellow for a brighter color scheme.

If you do choose to go with a plain color tablecloth, then play around with the plates and napkins. I love these floral salad plates. Even if you choose to have solid color dinner plates, these garden inspired salad plates will add a beautiful detail to your table setting. You could even use them as dessert plates if you wanted to. To add even more detail to your table, put your dinner plates on top of these woven placemats. These come in a pack of 6 for $26.

Another way to add additional color and prints to your table is through napkins. I love these harvest garden print napkins. They are so pretty! Before dinner starts, display them on each plate with these bow napkins rings. To add even more color to your table, I love the idea of colored wine glasses. These sage colored long stem wineglasses can be used throughout the year.

To top off the overall aesthetic of the table, we must look at the center pieces. I love putting faux flowers as center pieces, it’s pleasing to look at. I love the floral combination of these, but they may be too overwhelming for the table. These you can place as the center display of the food table. On the table you may want to go for a more subtle floral display or use dried grass/wheat. Scattered these flameless wax pumpkin candles on the table for a more fall aesthetic.

Speaking of the food table, do not leave the pretty printed plates for the dinning room. Add some beauty to the serving area. This floral bird serving platter is perfect to put your turkey on. Pour delicious gravy on top of your turkey with this ruffle gravy boat. Pour water out of this beautiful partridge in a pear tree print pitcher. You can use these amber colored small bowls to put the olives in. It can also be use during appetizers, placing nuts in them. During appetizers use these chic wrapped handle cheese knives.
