Happy Friday! And Happy Barbie movie and Britney Spear’s new song release day to all that celebrate! I am excited to finally see this much hyped about Barbie movie while listening to Mind Your Business.
The beginning of this week was mostly about prepping for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. But I did get to take a little break to dance. I went to my usual Tuesday morning DanceBody full-out class. I am catching on to the new dances. I did a few of the breakdown videos online Monday afternoon to better acquaint myself with the dances. I have 3 dances down so far, but many more to perfect.
I went to my last American Ballet Theatre performance of the summer season Wednesday evening. It’s the final week of performances and to end the season they are doing Romeo and Juliet. I got to see one of my favorite principal dancers, Isabella Boylston, perform as Juliet. I also thought Daniel Camargo, Romeo, and Jonathan Klein, Mercutio, did a phenomenal job! Romeo and Juliet is a beautiful ballet, but it is also very long- 3 hours! However, it’s full of comedy, sword fighting, beautiful dancing, and romance. What more can you ask for really?! This entire Met summer season was absolutely amazing! I am sad to see it end!
What I am watching: The second season of The Summer I Turned Pretty! After the first season I read all of the books, so I know what to expect. Still I enjoyed the first 3 episodes that have been released. I have to admit that I like Belly so much more in the series than in the books. I couldn’t stand her in the books. I thought she was so whiny and immature, even for a teenager. She seems more mature in the series for some reason. I am team Conrad for the record!
What I bought: With all these amazing sales happening I have been on a shoppings spree. For the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale I bought this pink crop tank to workout in. Next I bought this green bath towel. Outside of the NSale I bought this pink linen mini dress– currently on sale! It seems like the perfect dress to wear for hot summer days. I bought a size 2.

This weekend I am heading to the Hamptons with a few friends. We are going to the Holiday House Hamptons– an interior design showhouse. I am very excited to see all the beautiful and creative rooms from top interior designers. Also while I am there a friend of mine is hosting a little brunch gathering, so I will be doing that as well!
