Happy Friday and happy New York Fashion Week! To be honest I am not doing much for NYFW. Usually I go all out and attend shows, presentations, events, and press previews. This year, however, it’s a little different due to COVID. A lot of brands are either not having shows or having limited guests. And I didn’t reach out to that many brands as I have done in the past. Hill House Home has launched their newest collection, University. Here you can shop new nap dresses in different colors and prints. They have also launched new items such as coats, sweaters, headbands, and journals. I lived in my nap dress all summer and can’t wait to add a new one to wear this fall. I can’t decide between the emerald botanical poplin or the plum floral jacquard color. I need to decided soon as I believe items will sell out fast! Earlier in the spring I was looking for dresses that I can lounge in around the house, while also being able to wear out and about. I stumbled upon this floral maxi dress an immediately bought it. I wasn’t able to wear it during the summer, as it was too hot to. Now I am excited to pull it out of my closet for the early days of fall. It may not be your typical fall color palette, but I do not mind. I can easily throw a chunky sweater over it to give it a fall look. It comes in a few other prints with a darker color palette that you can wear with boots for the fall season. Perhaps you are heading to warmer climates and need a vacation dress to brunch in.
