Now that we are in a new year, I am all about out with the old and in with the new. Getting rid of the things that no longer spark joy. The best way to feel new is to refresh my surroundings. Since I am not moving to a new apartment anytime soon, the next best thing is to do a little home decor makeover. My first victim, the floor mirror.

I acquired my floor mirror through a previous roommate. She was leaving the apartment and couldn’t take it with her. I happily bought it from her and used it daily. Now that I moved from that 3-bedroom apartment with roommates to my own studio apartment, it’s time to find something new. There isn’t anything wrong with the mirror, I just want something a little nicer. I have already started my hunt for a new mirror but of course turned to Pinterest for a little inspiration first.

Going into my search for a new floor mirror, I knew I wanted one that is either silver or white. I do love the popular vintage inspired mirror with adornments from Anthropologie that everyone seems to have.  I also love the idea of having a white ornate or Tudor framed floor mirror. What I think I will end up with is something similar to this antique glass frame floor mirror. Something minimalistic and chic. Here are a few floor mirrors I am currently shopping.
