Do you have items in your closet that you can not live without? Items that you religiously wear every day and never grow tired of. I am always sharing what to wear to this or that occasion, even what to wear around the house. Yet I have not shared with you the items that I truly do not know what life would be like if I didn’t wear them. They are the simple things in life that give me pleasure, that makes me feel at home and like myself. These are a few of my favorite things.
Leggings To Relax In
Lately I have been living in these cotton leggings for the past few months. They are so comfortable! Thick enough to keep me warm during the winter, but not too thick that I get overheated when I am inside. Another pair that I religious wear are these black leggings. They look like activewear but I wouldn’t work out in them. I wear these leggings to run errands in or to simply walk around the city.
Comfortable Thong Underwear
There is nothing that I dislike more than uncomfortable underwear. I want to walk around and feel relaxed as if I have nothing on. I have always been that way, even in diapers. My underwear of choice has always been comfortable thongs. I usually wear this lace pair, but lately I have been getting into SKIMS basics. A pair that I can wear daily that is either cotton, satin, or shapewear. No prints or crazy colors, just basic everyday thong underwear.
Cute Scrunchies
At the end of the day I throw my hair up in a cute scrunchie. I currently have a variety of options from bows to fun prints to big and small in size. I am happy that scrunchies are back in style. Sorry Carrie Bradshaw but you were wrong, women of New York do wear scrunchies. I’ve always been a fan and never understood why they went out of style in the first place. Plus they are better for your hair than hair ties.
After Shower Robes
After I take my shower I love to throw on my comfy blue robe. It’s heaven to me to relax, drink my matcha and wear my robe while I am getting ready. I keep my robe on until the very last second I need to change into clothing. If it was socially acceptable, I would wear my robe out in public. Anyway, I love my current robe but I would also love to add this pink one.
