Over the weekend I attended the DanceBody LIVE stream sculpt class (if you want to try another LIVE stream class for free use code BANDBLIVE and if you want DB exclusive leggings for 20% off, use code DBMAGGIE)— I hoped you joined or at least watched! I had SO much fun during the class and gave it my all, knowing that people were watching. Usually during workout classes I like to pretend I am either the instructor, in a workout video (or music video), or live streaming, just to push myself and perform better. In a way I have been training for this moment for a long time. I was completely dead after class, went home and crashed on the couch for a few hours. But it was all worth it!

Although I love summer and am most active socially, I am not always the most active physically. It sounds like it should be the opposite since I can go outside and do any type of exercise. The truth is summer brings on a lot more social interactions– events, happy hour with friends, travel, etc. That I am more inclined to miss a few days of working out during the week. Fall brings on a more routine schedule. And right now I have been upping my workouts and frequently attending. It feels good to be back and pushing my body again! I went to The Dance with Amanda Kloots a few days ago, it felt amazing being able to dance. I haven’t been to her class (due to my own obligations and Amanda traveling for most of the summer) since Spring! Happy to be back doing dance cardio! I am also going to yoga more often and Mile High Run Club, even lifting heavier weights. What I haven’t done, and I want to get back into doing, is trying new workouts. I have a few on my radar that I will hopefully try soon.

Getting back into working out more often during the week means I go through my activewear faster. As one who believes you can never have enough workout clothes, I want to add more items to my fitness collection. Buying new activewear items does not mean you have to break the bank. There are plenty of good quality options to buy that are under $100. I have being eyeing Outdoor Voices leggings for a while now and love this color combination. Fall means wearing an extra layer to and from class, a cute hoodie would be great. It will also be nice to wear while I run outside. Bandier is one of my favorite fitness retailers to shop from, which is where I got this muscle tank that I have in both black and white. They are my favorite tops to wear while working out. I am loving this fun sports bra and shorts polka-dot combination, how cute! One thing I desperately need is more sports bras, they always seem to stretch out quickly and I like mine to be super tight. Here are a few more items I am wanting that are affordable!
