For Christmas and New Year’s wear something different than the traditional holiday dress. A metallic blouse can be a festive alternative that still holds the traditional glitz of the season. A revival of 70’s glam, metallic is a great way to shine bright during the holidays.

This metallic blouse with a pussy-bow detail is so different from anything else that I own. Although I am no stranger to wearing sequins, metallic is not a fabric that is currently in my closet. Metallics are eye-catching and bold, but can be feminine and beautiful. I have been eyeing this blouse for a while before I finally bought it as an option to wear for Christmas Eve.  If I do not end up wearing it for Christmas I may wear it to either a holiday party or for New Year’s Eve. Even after the holidays I plan on wearing this top to parties. Metallic’s are a festive, beautiful way to stay in the holiday glitz and glamour when you do not feel like saying yes to the dress.
