new-york-cityToday I am leaving for New York City for a long weekend getaway! I am heading there to attend two conferences and a brunch event,  but I am excited to eat at my favorite restaurants, stroll through central park and sit by the duck pond, shop till I drop up and down 5th avenue, and of course see my friends. As a former (and forever) New Yorker, I get a lot of questions on what places to go and things to see and do. I could probably write a month’s worth of posts on restaurants, bars, attractions, etc., but to save us both time, I tried to narrow down some note worthy places.

And there you have it! Some, but not all of my favorite places to eat and things to do in New York! It was hard to narrow it down, and yes this was narrowing it down for me. There is no place, no city, like New York!

What did I miss–would love to hear about your favorite restaurants and places to go in NYC?
