The holidays are here and I have been browsing for new Christmas decor. I know everyone says to wait until after Thanksgiving to start decorating, but it doesn’t mean I can’t shop for Christmas. In fact, I caved and currently have both Thanksgiving and Christmas decor out on display in my apartment. Not all of it, but a few pieces at least. It’s 2020, there are no rules. I sadly will not be in my apartment during the holidays as I am planning on heading back to Ohio for the remainder of the year. There is so much happening in the world today that Father’s Day seems to be in the back of everyone’s mind. The day to celebrate all the special men in your life is around the corner- June 21st. I will still be here in Columbus on Father’s Day to celebrate with my parents. Although I am eager to get back to New York, I am glad that I will be here. My dad means the world to me, he truly is the greatest man I have ever known.
If you do not know the day or even the month, may I remind you that Mother’s Day is around the corner. At this point it is unclear if we will be able to spend the day with our mothers unless you are currently quarantined with them like I am. So it is more meaningful this year than ever before to send her a gift that will brighten her day. From refreshing her decor to elevating her outfits with new accessories, there is a gift to shower your mom with love this Mother’s Day.
