It’s almost time to pull out our red, white, and blue clothing. The 4th of July is quickly approaching and I, for one, am excited for the festive holiday. This year I am heading to Ohio to celebrate the 4th of July with friends and family. The 4th is always so much fun in my home town. We kick off the day with a parade, followed by hopping around town to different friends and family cookouts, then end the day with a fireworks display at the park. It’s a fun, joyous day! (more…)

In the summertime I love to accessorize my outfits with cute statement earrings. Whether the style is nautical, colorful, or dressy a fun pair of earrings tops off any outfit. Usually in the summer I opt for my trusty lantern earrings. The raffia material makes them the quintessential summer earrings. They go with any and all of my outfits. Happy Friday! Holy air pollution. That was a very surreal experience. As you may have seen, on Wednesday the air here in New York turned to orange. It was in one respect scary but in another way kind of artistic. My social media feeds were inundated with fascinating photos of the smog. However, I am glad that the sky is clearer. Hopefully it stays this way. It’s not healthy for us to be living like this. (more…)
