activewear

When the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale started the first thing I shopped for was activewear. I knew that this was the perfect time to grab a few items to workout in for a more affordable price. And to be honest, I wear more activewear daily than I do regular clothes. I bought this top (in black) from the Nordstrom Sale and have been wearing it to my workout classes. Since the sale began I started thinking about how activewear can really be expensive. There are so many cute workout sets that I would love to have but find to be overly priced. Maybe some day I’ll treat myself and get a matching pair of leggings with a crop top but until then I’ll settle for more affordable quality items. Since the Nordstrom Sale will not last forever, sadly, I thought I’d round up a few cute activewear items that are under $100. This way you won’t break the bank and you can still work on your fitness goals while looking cute!

Happy Friday!! We are currently under a heat advisory warning. The humidity is bad– tis the season to wear my hair up all day, everyday. But besides the humid temps and me standing in front of an AC unit asking it to better my life, things have been picking up lately. Everyone is either throwing an end of the summer soirée or showcasing fall/winter collections.

Nordstrom anniversary sale

 

Tomorrow is the beginning of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Public Access. There are still plenty of items left in the sale that are worth getting! I shared a few of my must haves from last week for the Early Access. But, as always, Nordstrom adds new items as the sale goes on. Here are more items from the sale in beauty, clothing, accessories, activewear, and home. To prepare for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Public Access I suggest shopping for items now, saving them into your wishlist or checkout bag, then when the sale hits all you have to do it check out! Summer is the season to lay out by the pool and read. I have been complaining lately that I have not been reading as much as I would like to. Well ’tis the season to really crack down and make time for such pleasures. At night I make sure to read for half hour to an hour before bed. The afternoon’s of Sunday’s are cleared out so I can devour my book whether I am in the park, laying out under the sun or sitting on my bed.  Two books I have recently finished and highly recommend are Where The Crawdads Sing and Normal People. I throughly enjoyed both and could not put either one of them down. Now that I am finished with both books, I have new ones on my reading list.
