Happy Friday! I am back in New York after a wonderful week in Marco Island with my family. I came back just in time for all the rain and an earthquake….. scared me a little. Everything was shaking. I had to hold onto my kitchen counter for support. At first I thought it was a truck going by (sometimes it can rattle my apartment), then thought my building collapsing. Once I realized it was an earthquake I stood under the door of my kitchen. It was a weird experience, but at lest Twitter is funny today. (more…)

It may be spring but it is still cold outside. All I want to do is put away my black puffy winter jacket and bring out my spring attire. If I still have to wear a jacket, at least I want to make it bright. An item that I have been coveting for years now is a floral quilted jacket. Something that I can wear throughout spring and even during the fall season. A jacket that brings in the color, the beautiful prints of spring while still keeping me warm. (more…)
